My wife and I engaged Larry early in 2022 to help us sell our condo and purchase a single family home for our growing family. Despite the extremely challenging market conditions during this time, Larry's expertise and proactiveness helped us feel confident that we would be able to purchase a new home.Larry was very responsive and helped to coordinate many aspects of the purchasing and selling process, which was a burden off our backs while preparing to move. We worked with Larry Rutherford. He consistently worked 'above and beyond' to help us achieve our goal. He did everything possible to make sure we are comfortable in our new home. He is very knowledgeable and was able to walk me through all the pieces of selling and buying. He made this an enjoyable experience. We definitely recommend him.

We listed and sold our home with Larry. He was a perfect partner throughout the entire process. When we first started thinking about putting our house on the market, Larry spent significant time with us to explain the process and look at our property. He followed that up with an in depth market analysis where he showed us the prices for similar homes that were on the market or had sold recently. Larry's background as a property appraiser was evident, as he was able to show us exactly what our home was worth in the current market. Larry also gave us a list of very specific actions to take to prepare our home for listing.When we were ready to list, Larry took care of all the details. He immediately began marketing our property with photos and listings on all of the home-selling websites. I was working outside of Vermont when we put our home on the market, so it was a great comfort to me to know that Larry was on top of everything. In the first two days our house was on the market, we had 7-8 showings and two solid offers! Larry explained all of the contract terms and allowed us to make the final decision regarding the sale.After we were under contract, Larry continued to work for us up until the closing. He guided us through the inspection, appraisal, and final walkthrough and gave us good advice all the way through!We were very pleased with Larry's work as our agent! On top of it all, Larry was an excellent communicator both by phone and email. He has a strong, steady personality which is helpful when you're faced with the stress of moving. His knowledge of the real estate market in Vermont made our sale go smoothly.We would definitely recommend Larry as a Realtor to anyone and we would hire him again without question!
